BitDefender Antivirus Review – Can BitDefender Protect My PC?
As a leading Mac malware removal tool, Bitdefender Antivirus For Mac offers great value for money. Reviewed below is Bitdefender Antivirus Platinum, Ultimate, Extreme, Plus and Live Protection for Mac systems. I tested all these free and paid versions of Bitdefender Antivirus and think Bitdefender Antivirus For Mac is probably the most complete Mac antivirus solution available today. From virus protection to scanning, from scheduling to restore, from customizing the look and feel of your icon bar to accessing the various definitions manager, Bitdefender has it all.
Bitdefender Antivirus For Mac works well with Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard. If you have an older version of Mac OS X, there’s no need to worry because this antivirus software will also work flawlessly with the latest releases of these operating systems. It detects and installs the latest malware detection and removal programs. It is a little more robust than its Windows version, detecting and removing viruses, spyware, Trojans and other malware that could harm your Mac.
Bitdefender Antivirus For Mac provides a comprehensive protection against malware, spam, phishing, phobias, keyloggers and Trojans. BitDefender even provides independent testing and risk assessment for every version of its software. With five devices per company, two computers at home and one at work, I am convinced that this product offers very solid and reliable whole-house protection.
BitDefender AntiVirus for Mac offers a very user-friendly interface and is very easy to install and utilize. One of the features that I love best about this antivirus is its “BitDefender Doctor” tool. This tool is a stand-alone application which automatically scans for harmful malware threats and removes them from your computer. It’s very effective at removing malware such as ransomware, adware, spyware, Trojans and other malware that could potentially damage your Mac.
In a review by Charles Hepburn of PC Mag, Charlie McQueen of The Bitdefender Internet Security Suite (bES) also mentions that this product provides real-time protection. This is achieved by using MacAfee’s Real Time Protection feature. With this feature, McQueen says that he is able to identify malware that is not currently threatening, but which could become so in the near future. Since McQueen says that this feature is important, he also recommends that you purchase the extended version of this antivirus program, which costs $50, because it has additions and improvements that he feels are important.
One of the extra features that this product has that is noted by Charlie McQueen of PC Mag is that BitDefender Home Premium can detect threats that have been programmed to send out spam. This can be very useful if you’re receiving threatening emails from a strange address. This will enable you to take action before these things get to you. McQueen also mentions that BitDefender Internet Security Suite comes with a malware removal tool called BitDefender VirusScan. This tool can remove Trojans, adware and viruses and is also recommended.

In our Bitdefender Review, we wanted to see how the antivirus app performs in real world situations, and this is one of those instances where the software certainly excels over the competition. The fact that it can be used on mobile devices is a major plus, as many people use their phones and tablet computers for going online and doing business. You would think that antivirus programs would be designed specifically for these platforms, but this is not the case with this one. In fact, if you go deeper into the features of this product, you will discover that it is actually quite well-suited to protect your data from being stolen on your smartphone or tablet.
As a refresher, the antivirus app works on the principle of locking different parts of your computer until you pay a monthly fee to unlock them. After paying this fee, you are then able to access all the protection that is available to you on your computer. In many ways, this feature of BitDefender is much more suited to protecting personal information on your smartphone or tablet than the free version because there is no free version of the antivirus app. This means that if you need protection on your mobile device, you will need to purchase the BitDefender Pro version.
When it comes to antivirus programs, there are two types: commercial programs which are targeted at PC users and mobile devices such as Smartphones or tablets that run on Windows CE or Android OS. In this BitDefender Review, we wanted to take a look at some of the additional security features this product offers, and we will compare this same list of security features with some of the other leading antivirus on the market today. There are many different malware removal programs on the market today, and all of the products have different strengths. However, if you want the most comprehensive protection, we recommend that you invest in a product such as BitDefender Pro which offers excellent security and safety features, and for a very affordable price.
